You also rebirth after each stage as well. Having already tackled the level once, you'll also have fore-knowledge of which build might be the best - either for the level you want to do, or the specific challenges you want to accomplish. When you rebirth, you can then chose a new starting build with the perks and unique features of that build. The game also registers your kills as well - so you can cash in the souls of the dead for even more resources. When you die, you go back to the capital city to rebirth - taking with you some of the resources you collected. But then again if you do have an resource turn bonus (that you can upgrade if i remember correctly to give 4 instead of 2 on the map) you can just focus on picking one of the resources.īut yeah just a few minor mistakes can make you having to do it twice, it should properly be adjusted to be more fair than a calculatingfest where one or two mistakes can make you do it twice.īut you do get the blue crystals from that map for upgrades in your base, so you are gonna properly do it 2+ times just for the blue crystal resources.Yes, dying is a good thing - or rather, it's not a bad thing. I would also guess that when you get the option to pick either granite or blue ingots have a influence on the matter of completing both, if you pick wrong then i think you could fail in completing them both. I was afraid i couldn't do it either because i needed 3 more blue ingots to open up for the last unit to kill (the wizard quest one) but that was because i missed one where the dragon is, that flyes away. I did them all in one run, i started from the buttom and worked around, i completed the wizard quest/and destroy all units on the map as the last thing.īut the taverns are there to trick you, you CAN'T buy even a single unit (unless if you have the blue ingot turn bonus, because i believe i had maybe 15-17 granite left? could be wrong) if you wanna buy all balistictowers, you have to get the extra helping units from the bonfires. Even without having the turn bonus of 2/4 resources per turn. You can actually complete all three in one run.
